Librans are probably the most charming star sign there is. This is mainly because Libra is ruled by the planet of Venus. And Venus is the goddess of love and takes care of her charges. This is presented in the form of numerous flirt opportunities crossing their path on the way to true love. Libras also stand out due to their impressively engaging manner and it is said that their reputation for having an exquisite taste in fashion and styling precedes them.
They see it simply as an absolute must for their well-being that their skirt colour-coordinates perfectly with their blouse and that their make-up harmonises exactly with their clothes. It is, however, an absolute exception to the rule that some Librans actually need to go as far as matching their outfit to their fixtures and fittings at home!
And their private den could also give you the impression that they have just stepped out of a home and style magazine. No wonder that shopping is definitely regarded as one of their favourite pastimes.
Harmony is the be all and end all among Librans and this need can be transferred to almost all areas of life. From the excessive need for everything in their life to be in a state of balance and equilibrium arises, however, the already rather annoying tendency towards indecision and decision-making phobias.
Those who try and put a gun to a Libran's head and demand him to come to a decision have already lost, before they even started. Librans simply need time and they just have to do everything in their own speed – there’s no use in rushing them!
They can, however, even take a zigzag course of action because they've got to thoroughly sound out all the alternatives available for a given situation before making a decision.
But when push comes to shove and a deadlock situation has been reached on certain levels then the Libran likes to pull his biggest ace out of his sleeve – namely, diplomacy. And it’s in this area that they can actually accomplish quite unbelievable things. With their clever moves, patience and charm they are able to mediate in even the most complicated situations.
But watch out, Librans attach a great deal of importance to good manners due to their inclination towards aesthetics. If you talk to them in a somewhat rowdy tone of voice or wolf down the homemade cake they cut for you at the coffee table without so much as saying a please or thank you then that was probably your last invitation or you will have to wait a very long time till the next one comes around.
If, however, you do tend to follow etiquette and other traditional rules then you will find an extremely amiable conversational partner in the Libran, who is a master of small talk and you definitely won’t have any to endure any of those embarrassing pauses when speaking, because you can be guaranteed that the Libran will come up with an amusing story to make you laugh and bridge any embarrassing gaps.
But just like a weighing scales, the Libran, who is always on the look out for a harmonious life, is not always in equilibrium even though he’d like to be. And if they have not reached the inner balance they strive for, they feel extremely uneasy and, feeling guilty towards the people around them, try to use all available means to recover this balance as quickly as possible.
The Libran’s soft spot is that fact that his need for harmony is so great that he'll go so far as to please everybody in his surroundings.
And with all that willingness to adapt, he no longer actually knows what his own needs are in the end!
You just have to have a massive amount of admiration when you see how the Libran makes allowances for certain people’s errors and deals with them with great deal of understanding where sparks would already be flying among non-Librans and huge large-scale arguments ensuing.
And that’s what Librans really hate the most. So don’t make them argue, but show instead that you are willing for reconciliation, after all, a Libran smile has already been known to melt many an iceberg you know.
